CELEBRATING ELI ♡
Today was a very special day for Eli at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was his graduation!
Eli and his family have been part of our centre community since his older brother was 3 years old. Now it is time for him to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Eli, we have loved getting to know you.
Eli, some things that we love about you are your amazing sense of fun and humour, your courage and love of a challenge, and your thoughtfulness when something grabs your focus and provokes you to think of outrageous possibilities! We love your wild imagination which we see active in your creations and in games and play with your friends. We have seen your thoughtful, observant nature as you have cared for our animals and noticed what they need.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy bringing in recycled materials to build with – you are constantly observing what is around you and thinking of possibilities. You enjoy a project that you can take ownership of and complete with all the details. You are active and seem to have endless energy to explore until your curiosity is satisfied ☺
Eli, you are very interested in the way things work and how all kinds of materials can be used creatively. You are social and have made great friends here. You have a compassion for animals and living things.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are perseverance, caring, commitment, confidence, excellence, friendliness, helpfulness, joyfulness, kindness, respect.
Our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school you keep the spark of curiosity, questioning and compassion alive wherever you go. We pray that these wonderful qualities which make you YOU continue to grow as you also grow in faith, favour and wisdom.
