CELEBRATING ELIJAH ♡

Today was a very special day for Elijah at Bethlehem College Kindergarten.  Today was his graduation! Elijah and his family have been a wonderful part of our centre community.   Now it is time for him to go to primary school.

At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.

The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time.  The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Elijah, it’s our pleasure to send you off to your new adventure at school with our love, support and blessing ♡

Elijah, we have loved getting to know you.

Elijah, some things that we love about you are your ability to join in with the children at our centre and have fun in all the activities you do. Running around with your friends and pretending to be all sorts of creatures from dinosaurs, dogs, cats and even giant bananas.

We’ve noticed that you enjoy riding the bikes up at the bike track and at times being a police and chasing your friends and putting them in jail. Building those fantastic creations from mobilo and sharing them your friends and teachers at mat time.

Elijah, you are very interested in building things and it doesn’t matter what you use to create them, it could be in the carpentry area, the mobilo corner or making masks and other creations in the painting area. 

The character virtues we have seen you develop are caring, compassion, cooperation, creativity, friendliness, honesty, kindness, patience, respect, tolerance, understanding.

Our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school that you continue to grow and development into the amazing young person God has made you to be. That your transition goes smoothly and you make some great new friends and God calms your nerves so you can really enjoy your first days at school.
