CELEBRATING IRIS ♡
Today was a very special day for Iris at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation!
Iris and her family have been a very special part of our centre community . Now it is time for her to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Iris, we have loved getting to know you.
Iris, some things that we love about you are: your quiet and calm disposition and the way you love being involved in activities around the centre. We have enjoyed watching you develop in your confidence and the way you interact with the other children during your day here. We love watching as you create new things and seeing what wonderful craft you have finished ready to take home.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy interacting with your friends and having fun while you have been here at kindy. You really enjoy working in the craft area and have come up with the most amazing things that other children have got some great ideas from too.
Iris, you are very interested in giving other people your craft so they can enjoy it too, you get great pleasure from seeing other people enjoying receiving your gifts. You have been interested in all areas of the centre and spend time in just about all of them.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are caring compassion confidence consideration forgiveness friendliness gentleness helpfulness kindness patience reliability respect thankfulness.
Iris, our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school you will settle quickly into your classroom, learn lots of new and interesting things, and make long lasting and special friendships. May God bless you and may you grow in his wisdom and love.
