CELEBRATING LILLY ♡
Today was a very special day for Lilly at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation! Lilly and her family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. Now it is time for her to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Lilly, we have loved getting to know you.
Lilly, some things that we love about you are your smile and enthusiasm as you join in with our Kindy activities. Your caring and creative nature. Lilly you have such a heart of service and have made a difference in so many lives as you consider others needs as important as your own. You act with the spirit of excellence and enthusiasm as you endeavour to make special gifts for those you care for.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy being a new big sister as well as role-playing families. You love to be part of a family and often act out what might happen during a family’s day. You love to dress, feed and take the dolls (babies) on special outings. Dramatic play is a rich learning environment as you turn into animals, Grandma’s, service workers as well as take turns being the mum. You never miss the opportunity to utilise our art resources activities to the fullest, and use your creative imagination to the fullest.
Lilly, you are very interested in the pets we have at Kindy and helping to care for them. Sharing meaningful moments about your family. Creative art projects where you can experiment with materials and bring something new and exciting the world, as well as creating precious gifts for special people in your life. Helping to look after others, particularly the younger children in our Kindy community.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are caring, determination, assertiveness, friendliness, fairness, justice, resilience and tolerance.
Our prayer for you is that you have confidence in who Christ has created you to be and appreciation that He is your foundation. May God’s grace be your guide Lilly and His hope be your compass toward a bright and exciting learning journey. I pray blessings upon your heart of service and that you continue to have eyes to see the needs of those around you and continue to have a soft heart to love others so well. May you face each new day with positivity and settle quickly into your classroom routines; enjoying all opportunities to extend your learning, as you engage in all activities at school. I have no doubt you will make long lasting and special friendships and accomplish many great things as you develop your unique and God given potential Lilly as you grow in God’s wisdom and love.
