CELEBRATING MARCUS ♡
Today was a very special day for Marcus at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was his graduation!
Marcus has been part of our centre community since he was 3 years old. Now it is time for him to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Marcus, we have loved getting to know you.
Marcus, some things that we love about you are your very creative mind and your imagination that comes up with the most amazing things to make or create. You have an eye for detail and notice the small things. You are generous with your time and keen to help others. Also your wonderful sense of humour!
We’ve noticed that you enjoy showing people around our kindergarten and giving them a tour of the place when they first arrive. Role playing with the other children and a lot of the time being a policeman and catching the ‘baddies’. You also love to tell detailed stories with lots of expression and to express your feelings about things with an extensive vocabulary.
Marcus, you are very interested in creating what your imagination comes up with, that may be a mask, helmet, radio or a policeman uniform complete with utility belt and pepper spray. You also like to have a sense of order and value fairness and respect.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are caring for others, commitment, confidence, diligence, excellence, friendliness, helpfulness, joyfulness, kindness, peacefulness, respect, self-discipline, and understanding.
This is our prayer for you as you transition to primary school is that you continue to grow and develop into the amazing person God has made you to be. That your transition goes smoothly and you make some great new friends and God calms your nerves so you can really enjoy your first days at school.
