CELEBRATING OLIVIA ♡
Today was a very special day for Olivia at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation! Olivia and her family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. Now it is time for her to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Olivia, we have loved getting to know you.
Olivia, some things that we love about you are your gentleness, determination to start and finish projects and loving kind nature towards animals and people.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy caring for our bunnies, playing with the dolls and setting up creative play in the family corner. Olivia, you really love the art and crafts table and always had ideas of your own what to do and how to do it. You have such a kind inclusive personality that makes other children want to work and play with you. You have a pure heart with kind intentions towards your fellow kindy friends.
Olivia, you are very interested in finding out how to create using paper, cardboard, recycling material, natural resources, wood and of course glitter. You love to add a little bit of sparkle and fun to your projects, and that is what we love about you, too. Olivia, you are a very conscientious, hardworking and diligent young friend who is very capable to use all the tools around kindy, i.e. scissors, sharpeners, rulers, pencils, pastels etc. That is also why you are willing to support some of our other younger kindy friends on their learning journeys.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are helpfulness, thankfulness, sharing, creativity, compassion, kindness, patience, confidence, creativity, determination and friendliness.
Our prayer for you is that you will settle into school and make long lasting and special friendships as you continue your learning journey. We pray you will continue growing into the very special person God has created you to be. May God bless you and may you grow in His wisdom and love. We will certainly miss you.
