CELEBRATING OLIVIA ♡
Today was a very special day for Olivia at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation! Olivia and her family have been a wonderful part of our centre community.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Olivia, we have loved getting to know you.
Olivia, some things that we love about you are how your sense of God is your sense of wonder about the world around you! It has truly been an exciting journey to see you further engage, enact, and immerse yourself in attaining meaning and knowledge of all manner of interests, moreover how your possession of knowledge has never lessened your sense of wonder and mystery of God’s awesome creation for you to enjoy.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy being creative in all areas and activities you involve yourself in. There is without a doubt no area at kindy you have not explored to the fullest, however I must say your love of dramatic play has been a wonder to watch as it is one of the highest forms of research you can engage yourself in as you learn to put yourself ‘in others shoes’ and explore how they may feel, act and make good choices in different situations.
Olivia, when you find something you are passionate about you are tremendously interested in it. You are truly ready for school as we see your learning journey literally blossom before us as you have grown like a beautiful tree in all directions… our kindy environment provided just the right nourishment for you to send down a tap root (like a tree in dry soil) and suddenly one of these little tap roots struck water and we have seen your flourish and develop till you have now outgrown your kindy pot and you are ready to be transplanted into the next bigger ‘pot’ of growth and extension of your learning journey.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are patience, responsibility, peacefulness, reliability, tact, thankfulness, service, self-discipline, integrity, kindness, friendliness, forgiveness
Olivia, our prayer for you is that as you transition onto Bethlehem College primary school that you will stay curious, keep learning, and keep growing. We trust God will have already prepared the classroom with the right teacher, friends, school work and routine so you will settle quickly into being a ‘big schoolgirl’ where you will be ready to learn lots of new and interesting things and make long lasting and special friendships. May you continue to be a light for others and show love, care, and respect to all. I pray you remember Gods love for you Olivia and know He will be watching over you and out for you always for you have been created for a very special reason.
