CELEBRATING PSALM ♡
Today was a very special day for Psalm at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation!
Psalm and her whanau have been part of our centre community since she was 3 years old. Now it is time for her to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Psalm, we have loved getting to know you.
Psalm, some things that we love about you are: your enthusiasm and the effort you put in to everything you try. We love the way you patiently share your talents with your peers and encourage them to have a go i.e. gymnastics, creative crafts, dance. Your infectious smile lights up our day.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy dance, drama and gymnastics and sharing your talents in this area. You enjoy challenging yourself to master a skill such as riding a two wheeler bike and cartwheeling! Psalm you enjoy cartwheeling around the Kindergarten everywhere and anywhere! You enjoy imaginative play with your friends.
Psalm, you are very interested in writing lots of words to go with your crafts and making gifts for others. You like to create patterns and designs with colorful objects and materials. You enjoy building wonderful structures with our blocks and manipulative equipment. Psalm you use your leadership skills to initiate games and imaginative play.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are: Helpfulness, caring, enthusiasm, patience, respect tolerance, faith, creativity, service, responsibility and purposefulness.
Psalm, our prayer for you is that you will settle quickly into your class as you transition to school, learn lots of new and interesting things and make long lasting and special friendships. It has been a pleasure to teach you Psalm and I pray God’s blessing on your learning journey and in everything you do. Psalm may you know Gods love and peace always for you are fearfully and wonderfully made –Psalm 139:14.
