CELEBRATING SHEN ♡
Today was a very special day for Shen at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was his graduation! Shen and his family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. now it is time for him to go to primary school!
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Shen, we have loved getting to know you.
Shen, some things that we love about you are the way you play and interact with your friends including them in everything you do here at the centre during the day. Everything you do is done to the full extent and with a lot of enthusiasm. Your ability to engage in just about every area of the kindy and enjoy being included in the activities.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy building with your friends and making some amazing structures with the big building blocks. You really enjoy pretending to be your favorite super hero and often wear your super hero cape to kindy.
Shen, you are very interested in making and keeping good friendships with your peers and are very loyal to them. You have loved speeding around the bike track and you are very interested to see how fast you can go without crashing into your peers. Your interest in building is well known and you are very involved in the process as well as the product which you are very proud of.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are caring, commitment, courage, confidence, creativity, compassion, enthusiasm, friendliness, forgiveness, honest, integrity, joyfulness, loyalty, respect, thankfulness, trustworthiness, and understanding.
Shen, our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school is that you quickly settle into your routines and enjoy the opportunities to extend your learning as you engage in activities. I pray you make long lasting and special friendships and accomplish many great things as you develop your unique and God given potential. Shen, may you grow in God’s wisdom and love.
