We have an opportunity for a teacher to join our wonderful ‘Amazing Place Preschool’ teaching team on a nine month fixed term maternity contract.
Amazing Place Preschool is a bright and positive multi-cultural centre with a big heart for children and whanau. Older and younger children enjoy interacting together in our open-plan centre.
We are based in Western Heights, Rotorua and offer full-time and sessional care for children 6 mths – 5 yrs.
Amazing Place Preschool is one of five centres which make up the Bethlehem Early Learning Centres, owned and governed by the Christian Education Trust.
We are looking for a qualified or experienced early childhood or primary teacher to join our teaching team for 25-30 hours per week spread over four to five days.
This is a nine month fixed term maternity leave contract, from July 2015 – March 2016.
We currently have a solid team of qualified and registered teachers, and are seeking a reliable teacher to support the teaching team. Because we are do not require the successful applicant to fulfil a leadership role, this fixed term contract would be ideal for a beginning teacher or a returning teacher wanting to gain current experience and to grow in confidence.
We are looking for a genuine and loving teacher who will care for children and their families and facilitate learning around children’s individual interests.
You will need to resonate with our Teaching Philosophy, our relational approach to learning and to be comfortable working within our faith-based environment.
While we are a multi-cultural centre, it is not essential that you have had experience teaching in an environment like this as long as you are open to growing as a teacher in supporting diverse learners from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
We urgently need to fill this role as it begins early July.
