CELEBRATING EMELIA ♡
Today was a very special day for Emelia at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation! Emelia and her family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. Now it is time for her to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Emelia, some things that we love about you are your amazing ability to focus on what you want to achieve which causes you to persevere sometimes for hours with a task you have set your mind to. The freedom you have to try out ideas and play with them, making discoveries along the way. You are a loyal friend who offers genuine encouragement, entertainment, and attentiveness!
We’ve noticed that you enjoy experimenting with all kinds of equipment, materials and colour. You love to dress up in all kinds of costumes, often dressed up to the nines with spectacular high heels, hair styles and perhaps even a wedding dress for the exploring you will endeavour on with great focus and enthusiasm.
Emelia, you are very interested in exploring our Kindy environment, especially where there is water, sand and colour. Science experiments capture your hunger to learn and make discoveries about our amazing world. You are very interested in creatively using materials for their intended and alternative means. You love to have meaningful conversations and ask lots of questions too
The character virtues we have seen you develop are enthusiasm, perseverance, determination, assertiveness, thoroughness, attentiveness, thankfulness, compassion, caring, encouragement, creativity, kindness and love.
Our prayer for you is that as you transition to primary school is that you settle quickly into your classroom and continue learning about our fascinating world that God has blessed us with. We pray you continue to make lasting and special friendships at school and accomplish many great things as you develop your unique and God-given potential. May you grow in God’s wisdom and love.
