CELEBRATING AVANA ♡
Today was a very special day for Avana at Bethlehem College Kindergarten. Today was her graduation! Avana and her family have been a wonderful part of our centre community. Now it is time for her to go to primary school.
At Bethlehem College Kindergarten we celebrate this milestone with a special graduation ceremony.
The child’s journey at kindy, their interests and virtues are shared at this time. The other children are able to contribute to the celebration and a bible is presented to the child.

Avana, we have loved getting to know you.
Avana, some things that we love about you are your happy smile, your joyful, positive energy and appreciation of God’s creation. We love the way you accept others and genuinely offer friendship and affection to them.
We’ve noticed that you enjoy using creative materials to try out your original ideas. You have loved finger painting and messy play. You have enjoyed our gardens, drawing and painting especially here at Kindy, as well as animals and creative play.
Avana, you are very interested in finding out how and why things work. You love to ask questions and explore with all your senses. You are very interested in noticing the miracles of creation – butterflies, animals, and babies being born. You never miss the opportunity to utilise our art resources activities to the fullest, and use your creative imagination to the fullest.
The character virtues we have seen you develop are assertiveness, caring, compassion, confidence, creativity, enthusiasm, friendliness, joyfulness, loyalty, respect, thankfulness, understanding.
Our prayer for you is that that you have confidence in who Christ has created you to be and appreciation that He is your foundation. May God’s grace be your guide Avana, and His hope be your compass toward a bright and exciting learning journey. I pray blessings upon your heart of love and compassion, that you continue to have eyes to see the needs of those around you and continue to have a soft heart to love others so well. May you face each new day with positivity and settle quickly into your classroom routines; enjoying all opportunities to extend your learning, as you engage in all activities at school. I have no doubt you will make long lasting and special friendships and accomplish many great things as you develop your unique and God given potential Avana as you grow in God’s wisdom and love.
